Watch videos of past PONY performances

Past PONY performances include a collaboration with Andrea Bocelli at Madison Square Garden and Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton at Lincoln Center.

PONY pushes the boundaries of the symphonic experience by projecting original movies and live concert footage in high definition on a huge screen. Moving spotlights and projected lighting transform symphony into spectacle.

The orchestra is led by Principal Conductor Atsushi Yamada, the first Japanese conductor in the history of the New York City Opera and only the second Japanese conductor at Lincoln Center.

Project Hand in Hand Partnership

PONY partners with Project Hand in Hand to give Japanese choral students from disaster-affected areas the opportunity to sing at Symphonic Storyboards. In the past five years over 400 Japanese students have sang at PONY concerts.
